Gmail interview tracking (optional)
A candidate can connect their own Gmail with read-only access. JobOrbit finds interview invitations, results and offers and adds them to the candidate’s interview tracker for their recruiter.
How JobOrbit uses Google user data
- JobOrbit requests Gmail read-only access and your basic profile (name and email) only when a candidate chooses to connect Gmail.
- It searches for recruitment emails (interview invitations, application updates, results and offers) and stores only their subject, sender, date and a short excerpt to show the candidate’s recruiter.
- It never sends, deletes or changes email, never sells data, never uses it for advertising, and does not send email content to AI services.
- JobOrbit’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Candidates can remove access at any time in their Google Account, or ask their recruiter to disconnect Gmail and delete the imported data.
