Recruiter activity monitoring notice

Version 30 October 2026 · applies only inside the authenticated JobOrbit recruiter workspace

What is recorded and why

JobOrbit records sign-in, session end, last interaction, online intervals, active interaction duration and idle duration to help your organisation understand workspace availability and review working-time records. Mouse movement, clicks, keyboard use, scrolling and touch interactions update timing in your browser. Only batched timing information is sent to the backend.

Active means detected interaction, not verified productivity. No interaction for 15 seconds changes status to Idle. Hidden pages do not add active time. Missing heartbeats change status to Offline within 20 seconds. Calls, meetings, reading, accessibility tools and work outside JobOrbit may not be reflected accurately.

What is not recorded

No key values, typed text, passwords, mouse coordinates, screenshots, audio, camera data or personal browsing outside JobOrbit are recorded by this feature. It does not inspect the contents of forms or documents. Ordinary account security logs are separate from these activity records.

Access, retention and your rights

Only authenticated administrators can view activity reports. Owners see the organisation; managers see their assigned recruiters. Activity data is retained for up to 90 calendar days under the configured maintenance policy. Concurrent tabs and devices are merged when calculating a recruiter’s accumulated time.

Contact your organisation’s administrator or privacy contact to request access, question a record, explain time spent working elsewhere, or request correction or deletion where applicable. Your organisation is responsible for confirming the purpose, legal basis and any required local notices or consultation before enabling monitoring. Acknowledging this notice is not treated as employment consent or proof of productivity.
